==History== It was only five years ago, when Azure awoke from her Vat, the Divine Ministers watching their new Operatives as they opened their eyes. The other vat, near Azure's was Altair’s. The Industrial Weapon Altair. He was a handsome looking Champion of the Ministers and the two felt a bond and friends they became. They trained together and fought together. The Divine Ministers were assured that they had chosen correctly in these two. However the serenity in Azure and Altair’s heart were not to remain.

In the Far Reaches they found a group of Void tainted humans attacking a small group of people, and the pair of Adamants flew into action. They decimated easily the weak forces but the victory was small for only a single young woman remained, the rest of group were dead or missing. They took the unconscious girl to one of the nearby settlements of the Exiled Ones. And when the young woman awoke the two adamants revealed themselves to her, and swore to each other to make this a secret, no one need to know that they had made contact with a settlement much less a single woman. It was a secret that would damage the plans of the Divine Ministers. Her name was Elaine.

The years passed, peaceful and serene almost. The occasional Void servants were decimated and the Champions of the Eight Nations worked to keep order. At least such was the case from these two Adamants whose bonds were strong and unwavering. But slowly the feelings of Altair began to warp. Jealousy and anger started to mar moments, and this placed an unusual strain on Azure. The two women noted the changes in their strong friend, but figured it was something else, some sort of Clarity failure or something odd. For awhile Azure just worried and watched, but as Altair’s erratic emotions began to flare and warp she decided perhaps it was time to have the Divine Ministers check them out.

And so they did, however things went really wrong as Azure rested inside her Vat. Altair had released much earlier and escaped into the Reaches. When Azure was revived the young Adamant felt something seriously wrong with her. Her Charms hummed strangely, her mind was fighting feelings of sluggishness. But there was little time to return her to the Vat, she was commanded to bring Altair back to them. And so she left figuring that there was only one place for him to be.

She was relieved to find him, happy to see him alive and seemingly well. And she approached him, hopefully she could talk him out of whatever was eating at him. But as she did he attacked her, wounding her in several moments, as Azure lay on the ground confused, frightened, and powerless Elaine appeared forced towards them by Esair, a young man that was seeking Elaine's heart, he had radically undergone accepting the taint of the Void. In his hands Elaine struggled but she fell still as her eyes came upon Altair and Azure. Altair smirked and poised his weapon over Azure, it wouldn’t take much, she felt badly wounded, and half her charms wouldn't even answer her call to use them, it was as if the Divine Ministers had abandoned her to this fate.

There was a scream and then Elaine fell upon her. Extreme pain shot through the young Adamant and then darkness. Azure was surprised she was not dead, but she wanted to be. Elaine was dead, the final attack against her weakened by the mortal woman who sought to shield her. Shield HER, a Champion of the Reaches! Azure collasped though her throughts in chaos and sorrow, but most of all hatred. As she recovered in her Vat, rescued as assuredly her enemies had left her for dead, talk of a new Apostate had been filtering through the various tunnels, and his name was Excruciating Shadow Sword, Altair. Altair had gone over to the Void and he would torment people for who knows how long. The demoralized Azure was perhaps inches from Dissonance herself were it not for the gift of Terristar, the machine God of Flight Devices. The Divine Ministers were not forth coming in mentioning why the Machine God was granted to her, and Azure would not have pressed them for it, as her responsiveness remained low, not even Clarity would help her. But the Machine God brought her back, drawing her from her scarred solituded back to reality and building a bond, a fragile weak bond but one that showed her attempt to trust once again.

It was only five years, five short years. When Azure finally cleared both body and soul she was sent out, but not into the Far Reaches, but into the World of Darkness. The Seven Seals of Divinity had been opened, but to where, the Divine Ministers request her to find sources to help the Great Maker to survive, and so she does. For now the young Adamant strikes at the darkness wherever she can find it. thrilled almost to a cold certainy to be doing so. She is not always successful, the creatures of the World of Darkness are not as easy to understand as those of her world. She tries to understand while she hunts, how this is possible, but its minor to her hunting. Protecting innocent people wherever she goes, and make sure another doesn’t have to suffer because of her.

Recently she came upon Esair, she decimated his allies and tortured him for information. Terristar left her to her devices hoping perhaps she will awake from the hate that tears at her. She gaine information from that moment about out Altair, learned he was on his way to Terminal City, a place she has not been to. Azure was quite lathargic however afterwards and she does regret her actions. Its apparent to the lone pair that things were not healed in her, but it was on its way. To Azure's surprise she was directed to Terminal City and given directions, her mission is simple: Take care of Altair. She will do all she can to flush out Altair and any other evil she can find. Fate though in the World of Darkness is more fickle than that of hers, and the destinies of others might intertwine with hers and hers with theirs.
