===Manse 4: the Brazen Fane of Ormagoden, producing a Stone of Transgressive Excellence (in Skin-Mount Setting) === Built into the side of an active volcano in the Wavecrest Archipelago, the Brazen Fane resembles nothing so much as a three-hundred meter tall horned skull with fires burning within its eye sockets and lava pouring to sea from its snarling maw. Clever Essence engineering ensures that the rooms within remain cool and comfortable despite the extreme environments surrounding it. The jungles surrounding the volcano are home to tribes of superstitious natives who worship the Fane and its god, and supply minions and sacrifices to its glory. The Fane was erected early in the Time of Glory and kept as a hidden base for a counterattack against the Exalted Host that never materialized. Still, the Manse and its supplicants endured through two Ages, until agents of the Yozis found the Fane once more and brought it to the ears of the Reclamation. Kyrioch swiftly brought the Manse under her control and her Primordial Essence soothed the wracked mind of Ormagoden, who thought that his patron had abandoned him all these years ago. With the help of Unity's PURE Corps, a naval base was swiftly fashioned in the shadow of the Fane, a berth for her mighty vessel from which she would begin her campaign against the West. The Brazen Fane is bound inextricably to the metal-skinned beast called Ormagoden, the god of the volcano and the beating heart of the Manse. His death will precede the Manse's own by only a few moments. Ormagoden sends dreams of enlightened madness to the wise men and women of the tribes below him, and those who receive these dreams join him as the Manse's caretakers. Though cut off from society, ancient tradition forbids the sacrifice of caretakers to the Caldera, earning them a small measure of safety. As a structure designed for war, the Brazen Fane is armored as a mighty fortress and incorporates various volcanic and lava-based weapons to destroy possible intruders. The screams of the dying reach Malfeas in Hell and bring a smile to his face. TO facilitate an influx of reinforcements, the Fane also contained a Host-Binding Circle, attuned to Infernal sorcery. The massive blazing eyes of the Fane hold mighty lightning ballistae which can annihilate targets out to a kilometer away and can be fired from the air-conditioned comfort of the Manse's central command chamber. Kyrioch can also trigger the Manse's self-destruct sequence when its termination would prove useful or in a fit of pique, though that would be a childish thing to do.
