Truth be told, Gilbert really is interested in the supernatural, he just isn't above manufacturing a haunting or two if the hidden world is uncooperative and refuses to hand him a case - he has bills to pay, after all! He is looking forward to his outing to Trackston, where he is sure that important discoveries await - and if not, well, those one-horse towns tend to have more nicely gullible rednecks and fewer smartass reporters saying things like, "what university did you say your degree was from, again?" and "is it true that those 'cold spots' only appeared after you arrived at the scene?"
