Slatko truljenje drva, oštro truljenje ribe, obarajuće truljenje ostatka nečijeg objeda ostavljenog da visi na grani. Par puta vas je iznenadno posjetio miris koji podsjeća na spermu. [[Batbayar]] vam je, keseći se, diskretnim prstom ukazao na grm bijelog cvijeta koji viri iz vode. "[[Očevka]]." Odjeća putnika je teška i mokra. Voda je negdje plitka, negdje duboka, teško je prepoznati. Pekmez mulja i vegetacije. Ogromne kornjače i aligatori plutaju na površini vode. Napušteni, mahovinom preplavljeni splav pun aligatora.
