== People and Culture ==

The people of ICS are most known for their interest in capitalism.Humans are the most common race here.  While all elasticities are presents a trend of dark hair seems to be at least noticeable.  [[Starfall:_Mechalus|Mechalus]] make up a small percentage of the population as well.  Solar and Alerian are the two most common languages, but many people here are fluent in any number of other languages.

The government is composed of a collection of businesses that have proven to be quite successful.  Once a company is able to amass a certain amount of resources a representative of that business is invited to join the Governing Council.  The Governing Council is responsible for managing the infrastructure of the system and ensuring free trade.

While the system has become unpopular because of their predatory business tactics, and alleged abuses against its citizens.  Despite this reputation, the people of I.C.S. enjoy an amount of personal wealth and quality of life that surpasses almost every other civilization in known space.
