==How to deal with Starting EQUIPEMENT== Starting equipment and "Value Points" in Midnight are very different than standard D&D 3.5. In-game we will use the Value Point and Bartering System. However, to begin the game you will start with the following, that replaces the standard Midnight begining equipment system... ===Starting VPs=== Your hero will have some Value Points available to him/her (the money in pocket so to speak) * '''(Roll 1d4)x10 = VPs in pocket'''. You should translate value into items for trade - i.e. furs, food, etc... ===Starting Equipment=== Rather than "buying" your equipment I prefer that you create a list of things YOU believe your character SHOULD have. Be realistic in-line with your character background and situation. If your hero SHOULD have a horse, he/she does... You just need to make sure it makes sense to your concept and background. * '''Create an Equipemnt List'''. Please do so on a seperate sheet from your character sheet. I will then have the option of deleting anything that I feel can't work with the opening story/location/scene. ===Starting Weapons & Armor=== Same as above with Equiment. You may choose whatever is appropriate. This CANNOT be magical items - covenant items or charms. If you have weapons or armor please also describe how and where you got these iteams - whether you made them, traded for them or they were handed down from family. * '''Create an Arms List'''. Please do so on a seperate sheet from your character sheet. I will then have the option of deleting anything that I feel can't work with the opening story/location/scene. ---- [[Midnight: North & South Portal]]
