Nextwave, a new, off-beat and more than slightly satirical super-hero team featured in an eponymous comic book series created by Warren Ellis and Stuart Immonen. The Highest Anti-Terrorism Effort, or H.A.T.E. (a subsidiary of the Beyond Corporation) formed the team to fight the Bizarre Weapons of Mass Destruction. Tabitha Smith's new team included other 2nd-string characters rescued from Marvel limbo,

Action! Excitement! Explosions!

The Highest Anti-Terrorism Effort, or H.A.T.E. (a subsidiary of the
Beyond Corporation©) put NEXTWAVE together to fight Bizarre Weapons of
Mass Destruction.
When NEXTWAVE discovered their employers were terrorist themselves,
they are less than pleased.
In fact, they are rather angry.
So they make things explode.
Lots of things.
Now with a high velocity of problems running amok from Beyond, what's
NEXT?!?! Reinforcements!!

STEP #1. Choose ANY obscure Marvel character that could/would
concievabley get roped into being hired for the "Next-NextWave"...

STEP #2. Tell their tale of old. Find the background up to when they
were last known in Marvel continuity.

STEP #3. What's up NOW. Add to their tale. Explain what got them
from there to here. How they've changed in style/look/hero names, etc...

STEP #4. Describe all their powers. Also note any changes from the past.

STEP #5. Stat them up! M&M2e PL8 with as many points as needed. The
characters with the least Power Points get more Hero Points (ie. you
get LUCK Feats Free!) So if there's 4 players the forth in PP gets 3
extra LUCK Feats free, the third gets 2, the second gets 1.

STEP #6. Check yo'self... stats go by GM-Prime (that's me!)

STEP #7. Mayhem and explosions!! Cats and Dogs living together!!
GM-Prime (that's me) runs the first issue/session.

STEP #8. MORE Mayhem and explosions!! Saved by the Bell reruns!!
GM-part II (that's random GM die roll at the end of the session) runs
the second issue/session.

STEP #9. MORE Mayhem and explosions!! Rainbow Kryptonite!! GM-part
III-the GM strikes back (that's random GM die roll at the end of the
session) runs the second issue/session.

STEP #10. etc.. etc...
