* Interview with master alchemist Mishka Bersikov. Early 40s, dark-hair, very Slavic looking, fluent but accented English. Comes across as very professional and confident, but very remote personally. Seems uncaring about ethical questions. 
** Says that her reason for coming is ambition - to be in charge of her own facility (?). She has travelled about a little within Eastern Europe, but not farther. 
** Expertise in Outsiders - she studied a captured Outsider that was eventually put down by the Rodina. The only proven weapon against them is life essence, she says. 
** She says that life essence depends on identity - thus cannot easily be drawn from animals. Tapping it causes permanent damage to identity.
