*Born into Gens Karal, Jaingha had a fairly pleasant childhood, even if she was expected to learn all of the upper class social graces. She ended up enlisting at thirteen, wanting to get away from the tediousness of family life in the Gentes. Spending a few years as a common soldier, she eventually got chosen to become one of the Rangers.
*Several years later, on her 21st birthday, Jaingha passed the test for Gunzosha Commando training, becoming elite even within the already elite Rangers. Proud of her new status, she served loyally for a decade and a half, eventually 'retiring' with full military honours, and permission to retain the suit until her death. This is of course a sham: Jaingha is not retired at all, merely working as a freelance intelligence agent while commanding a mercenary unit. The Guild recently hired her company, the Blue Dragons, to protect a caravan traveling from Nexus to Chiaroscuro, and they are currently overnighting in the small town of Candle, waiting to resume their journey in the morning.
