* Skuld can trust Ylva. Her needs are simple and obvious, and dealing falsely is the surest way to undermine her position, such as it is.

They rode with him for fun, until he talked about losing his legs and took them to the glacier called Freya's Heart and the dead city underneath it, still glowing like a second aurora borealis. Upon coming back, Miekke never later acknowledged that it had happened.
