His saving grace was a handsome face - but that didn't get hid Ph.D for him; rather it was years in the quiet, and occasionally gibbering, halls of Miskatonic University that Morgan came to his intellectual bloom. It would further come to fruition upon his first field research assignment, an endeavor that would lead him to the Middle East, among the nomadic Bedouin for a time, and into the hushed mountains of Kurdistan, where wariness constantly warred with his own insatiable curioisity. He saw things there that he could not explain, things that hearkened back to the deeper corridors of Miskatonic's libararies, and overnight a dusty academic mythology had transformed into a real mystery to be solved. Functional is his usual attire, trousers with more pockets than is professional, vests and thick cotton that can handle a day's work and a few scuffs in the dirt. The pockets are typically filled with files, pocket knives, brushes, tape measures, trowels and the like. He hasn't managed to kick his Massachusetts/Boston accent, and tends to sport clean shaven cheeks.
