== '''Lore''' == '''Viscarius''' - aka Magus of Malificence, an ancient priest turned lich from nearly six centuries ago. He was a well-loved church leader who secretly ran a cult of heretics to eldritch gods. However, they did not find out about his heresy until long after he was dead. So the authorities had his burial site and monument torn down and the land purified. The delvers cleared his dungeon outside of Nestlebrook in chapter 1. '''Necoros''' - spirit of the Tome Unbound. Resided in Viscarius's dungeon. Helped the delvers defeat Viscarius and in return the delvers planted him in an abandoned quarry in the hills to the west of Nestlebrook upon a small rock deep in the heart of the tunnels. The Tome Unbound contains, among other things, Viscarius' eulogy. Read correctly by Nigel and using the tetragrammaton KOTH, it removed much of Viscarius's power and made him easier to slay. '''Nalvians''' - Nomadic tribesmen that used to live in the area, but were wiped out long ago. '''Tenabrick's Tenacious Sentinel''' - Spell created by Tenabrick. Guardians that are faster, stronger, and smarter than typical, but are tethered to the item/area they are guarding and unless actively pursuing a disturbance will not journey more than a few yards from it. '''KOTH''' - a Tetragrammaton, a word of power that is a being's true name in the machinery of the universe (similar to, say, binary code). Tetragrammatons can be used in all kinds of ways, from harming or ensnaring someone to calling on their power to be used as your own in a spell or ritual. '''Minotaurs''' - With a body of a man, and the head of a bull, they are keenly attuned to patterns due to their natural environment being labyrinths. Even their actions are highly repetitive, even if it does not seem so at first. The Moves Aid and Interfere can be applied without the usual stacking restrictions. '''Mayor Pabbleton''' - Mayor of Nestlebrook. Tall of elven woman with ruddy complexion and auburn hair. Made an agreement with some of the delvers to represent the town. Small library in her office. '''Tomian the Terrific''' - Old wizard that lives on the outskrits of Nestlebrook. Had a problem with magical books escaping him.
