By casting the spell scentlessly, she has had very few of her marks detected.  Kyuad has worn one of her marks since he was a child.  For more than a year, any time that a local shadow agent arrived in town without legate escort, she spent the better part of the day [http://dndsrd.net/spellsC.html#clairaudience-clairvoyance listening] to his conversations.  Prostitutes serve as excellent spying tools - they are easy to get close to and touch for her mark, they frequently paint their bodies with decoration so the mark goes undetected, and they almost ''attract'' agents of the Shadow who like to talk.

She also uses her [http://dndsrd.net/spellsS.html#scrying scrying] abilities to full effect any time that she feels confident that astiraxes are not active in the area.  Known legates are sometimes targeted, such as Dierro Possiogn who she has known since he was a boy.  More frequently however, she chose a servant of a known legate, or a target someone had told her about, such as a resistance fighter scheduled to be in a sensitive location at a specific time.

There have even been events that Collune has marked and then scried upon someone sent to retrieve information on a suicide mission.  She is strongly opposed to this tactic, but the ravages of war and oppression result in many who care only that their death is swift and has meaning.
