===Background/Appearance/Etc.===
Rowan was a fairly common part of the landscape in his hometown of Sour Brook, though he decided he wanted a little bit more for himself than a life of carrying and work and serving.  So he attempted to take to the arts of theft and it went...less than well.  After managing to half survive for three months on a mix of easy snatches and luck, he found himself caught, and only throwing himself on the mercy of the court (and promising to never, ever return) got him out of there without a brand and with all his appendages.  So, after considering his options, he made his way to Oakhurst, where he's fallen in among adventurers (a slightly more respectable lot), and is working to keep his thieving knowledge as up and up as he can.  Which, this job with the sunless Citadel seems to suit.
