==Manners among the Ito== The Ito outside the Chakas are fairly normal Tsolyani nobles, extravagant, arrogant, isolated, self-imndulgent dilletantes if they can get away with it, dabbling in finance and land management where they are forced to make a living. Within the Chakas they are austere, understated people, extremely formal in their dealings with non-Ito, even those who are their social equals. They never party, never hunt, they wear sombre born clothing and elegant simple jewellery. They travel in small palanquins with few guards, and some even walk on their own two feet. Their followers say this reflects their dedication to the people; they do not waste the resources of their lands in fripperies and display, they genuinely care for their subjects. Less kind souls say that the Ito are practising being dead and unemotional for their long sojourn in the grave which is all they really care about, or perhaps they are already dead and unemotional and are all Jajgi.
