== Background == Jakita's story starts a few hundred years ago as the Meritech Crusade started to die down with the heretech clans being scattered to the stellar winds by Battlefleet Calixis, with several members going to ground on the edges of Imperial civilization to avoid the Emperor's scourge. One group was the crew of the Magpie's Price, a tramp transport that was able to slip into Footfall without tripping any red flags, before it was dismantled for parts, and all scattered to start new lives, though some could not forget the indignity they suffered at the hands of the Imperium. One was the rechristened Zorakov family that was descended by some of the command crew, as they became reclimators and solicitors aboard the station eeking out a moderate living. As a young woman, Jakita became a very skilled Reclimator that was the next best thing to a Mechanius Magos, organizing her own trade union aboard the station that brought the attention of the Battlefleet Koronus, who needed extra support staff to man the advanced Medicae Bay aboard a Dictator Cruiser, Relentless that was going out into hunting the various horrible pirates and xenos in the Margin Crusade, so they whole sale pressed the union aboard to send them into the meat grinder. Though indignant at being brought into this war, Jakita utilized her rather minor station to her advantage, expanding the power of the deck as the greatest source for medical care on the battle ground, turning the ship into one of the more important ships in the battelgroup to deal with wounded officers, soldiers, refugees, and the odd Astartes after a rather costly mission. Though the ship gained prestige, it wasn't in battle much to the captain's detriment that did everything in his power to get her ejected from the ship, but being a major power below decks with the men and specialists, that Jakita was all but running the ship. Soon she started to spread her influence to other ships' Mechanius specialists into her own little Empire as an opposing chain of command, gathering a great deal of information she did not have any business knowing from the injured they treat. Eventually this started to raise some eyebrows in the high command, especially the Ecclesiarchy at her worrying lack of Confessors to tend to the spiritual need of the crew and melding the roles of the Navy ratings and Mechanius specialists causing ever more complications aboard the ship. To this end, they decided to let her out of her life long naval service about the only way they could without blowing her out of the airlock in hopes that she could continue her good work getting souls back into the battle, granting her a minor Warrant of trade, as she expected. She had promised boons, most notably getting them out of the warzone, to minor officers to submit glowing reviews of her deeds to gloss over her more ruthless practices. So with a ticket home, she left the warzone with a head full of knowledge and a ship to her name, her first acts would be to gather some renegades and best heretics she could find for a massive heist to secure a unique Meritech raider as her birthright orbiting the forge world of Opus Mechanius, as well as stealing a data core that was discovered in some long lost ship and was being shipped there for analysis. The ship was rather uneventful, mostly involving more forged documents and bribes to take a ship nobody was really interested in, but many shots were fired upon by the Skitarii guards before Jakita managed to flee with the data core, finally striking her first blow against the Imperium. Unfortunately said data core was heavily fragmented and deeply encrypted, needing at least a century of data augury to get any sort of information from it, despite that, she was had a proper war ship now, a crew to start enacting her revenge and search for technology that the Mechanius shy away from.
