Reportedly a relic from the old republic, it projects a personal force field, though its battery life is limited and all but impossible to replace. Grants the bearer the "Antique Shield Generator" aspect.

===The Escutcheon===
The [https://wiki.rpg.net/index.php/Raiders_of_the_Rim:_Known_Ships#The_Escutcheon|The Escutcheon] is an old, Clone Wars era Y-wing. Since space combat seems unavoidable, and Bav desperately wanted to strike back after the death of Bernie, he purchased it and started upgrading its systems.

An old S19 astromech droid that has seen more than a few years of use. It has orange trim to match the Escutcheon, but that paint has been chipping and flaking for some time.

It only speaks binary, and Bav does not, so he's set up his comlink to receive text translations.

Owan's communications are fairly matter-of-fact. It doesn't volunteer explanations for its statements, which has resulted in more than one miscommunication. It also seems unintentionally condescending, stating figures and facts without regard for offending anybody.
