=Background= Valentinian is and always will be a member of the Mendicant Brotherhood. He's a tough-minded, independent, and dutiful member of the Inquisition though after being seconded into the Holy Ordos after accidentally getting mixed up in an Inquistion operation while trying to save a group of pilgrims from dying at the hands of a heretic cult. He was seconded by an Inquisitor of Ordo Hereticus and was involved with a large, travelling Acolyte cell. This suited his needs just fine, as there was much downtime in Inquisition work where he spent it diligently tending to those in need, preaching his beliefs about the God-Emperor, and even occasionally taking on a Novice to be trained, much to the chagrin of the other Acolytes. He does not believe that either duty supersedes the other, but rather are both extensions of the same core belief: the Emperor must be served and many need to see the Light of his Judgment. Valentinian is a gregarious, outspoken man who's stubborn refusal to bend to the rigidity of the Ecclesiarchy has earned him their enmity as well as the enmity of many fell cults and organizations that he has tackled with his brothers and sisters-at-arms in his Cell over the years. He has a profoundly good reputation within the Ordo, however as a man who can get things done, no matter what the odds. His cyberarm, recently acquired, will be a constant reminder of the last mission he completed before being elevated to the rank of Interrogator and assigned to the newly-minted Inquisitor Isolde Moranz.
