Chastitia is a young, wandering Footfallen woman who was captured and surgically modified into a sexier, slinkier version of her former self for service in the harem guard of the void pirate Ridley. However, the volitor implant in her head malfunctioned, which gave her back her free will. She stole a lighter and escaped Ridley's vessel, and in a series of ship-jumpings in rapid succession, managed to escape his clutches.

She ended up signing on with the Blood Guild of Malfi, where her skills let her become a moderately successful bounty hunter. One of her contracts led her to Lord-Captain Varla Krydiss, where she fell instantly in love with the other woman's deviant, decadent nature. Since then Chastitia has been Varla's willing plaything and enforcer.
