=== Undertaking ===

Collune had a "day job" in Hillbird - she worked as a local undertaker.  An uncommon job for a woman, it afforded her the opportunity to travel legally, within limits, in order to service other local communities.  Her services were very appreciated by those in the area, as virtually any price is worth paying if the alternative is never knowing if a loved relative will suffer the indignity and torture of undead Fell madness.  

Her work was not limited to ensuring a proper ''transition''.  She also prepared herbs and chemicals for proper embalming and kept respectable clothing on hand in order to allow the deceased to look presentable for a ceremony (Kyuad frequently helped her with this).  

The ceremonies that she performed were simple and honoring of the dead.  She would spend as much time with the family of the deceased as possible and then during the ceremony tell of the person's best traits, and give a detailed and loving description of who the person was (as long as the family consented to this rather invasive and personal process).

This is almost never performed when the family is around, unless children or helpless people are being threatened, as seeing a loved-one turn to dust is extremely disturbing.
