==Background/Bio== ''You can't pick your family...'' Mike is the son of the owners "Constantine Trans-shipping" a moderately sized transport company among the Core (he was born on Londinium but moved around alot for business)that was just expanding out into the Rim whan the Unification War began. Mike, having Independant Sympathies, it was no major surprise when Mike, and his last shipment, ended up in Browncoat hands and serving the Independent's with some distinction. While this is no major secret (Mike always told his superiors and friends) Mike rarely talks, in detail, about his family nor life before the war. This was on advise from his first CO (too many common soldiers would assume he was a spy) and, eventually, became habit though he still will occasionally mention his sisters (2 both younger), parents, aunts(4), uncles (5) and cousins (many). Of course not all of what he says is true... Generally Mike had a happy life before the war, he just disagreed with his parents about the Independents Vs The Alliance and chose to do something about it. It does bother him sometimes not knowing what his family currently thinks about him but just can't bring himself to contact them beyond mailing the odd birthday or Christmas card, when he can. ''Too Gorram many things don't react well to bullets in the cockpit. My own self Included.'' Mike learned his knife skills from his uncle, a former soldier, that worked for the company, as a means to defend himself as he does not like guns nor trust them on the bridge of a ship having seen the damage done when, at 15, he helped his father tow in a derelict transport after an idiot accidentally shot out the controls, and exposing the bridge to space, while attempting to hijack the transport. ''Bein' on the losin' side don't mean you was on the wrong side.'' Mike truly regrets not being able to get his long coat during the evacuation and would like, at some point, to replace it. ----
