== Background == House Criamon was an ancient order of Hermetic seers within the Order stretching back to it's founding in Mythic Europe. They were always mysterious and secretive, pursuing their mythical Enigma, and helping the Order with their welcoming visions. In 1999, something terrible happened in India, and every Criamon in the world went into terrible fits of prophecy and vision, before taking their life, or dying mysteriously. Gregory Nale, an apprentice Criamon, stabbed out his eye with his pocket knife, and then passed out. That's how he survived the Week of Nightmares. Gregory had always had a gift for prophecy from a young age. He didn't know other kids couldn't see the future or what happened behind closed doors as easily as he did. At a young age he was taken by House Criamon "teachers" who had foreseen his talents, and his education took a turn for the Hermetic. He Awakened soon after he graduated the Order's equivelent of high school, and set out on a quest of discovery and self-awareness. It was cut short by the trauma of the Week of Nightmares, and when he came to, his teachers dead or irrevocably insane, he fled back to America, back to his home. He's trying to forget what he saw. At first he thought being alone would be best, but he grew desperately lonely. So, he found other young magi, and offered to join any Cabal he could, just for the companionship. He's sort of sad, and desperate, but his accuracy when it comes to prophecy is terrifying, and he's clearly suffering from the trauma. If he can just find a place in the world, he might be able to cope and get better. He hopes so, he can't see that far into his own future for some reason. He has several odd jobs, doing astrology or help columns for local tabloids, he did some 1-800 number psychic hotline for a while, but he had a nasty episode where he foresaw a callers death, and was subsequently fired. When he's really strapped for cash, he uses his magic to foresee the winning lottery numbers or tickets and gets the $500 prizes, nothing too big just enough to keep him fed and his apartment's rent paid.
