===session #2=== : ''D&D4 presents:''
''''' ESCAPE FROM CHAOS part I ''''''''
''Friday, June 20th, 9pm-1am''.
''GM'': KEVIN :: '''ISSUE RECAP''': ::: '''''Encounter 1 - Ghostly Encounter ''''' ::: With the scent of dragon in the air, the survivors found their way to what they would learn to be a guest chamber for the Temple of Chaos. Within the Medusa Princess the monsters had freed earlier had attempted to take her "revenge" on the man who called himself Bargle. But as Bargle was fending off the petrification his assigned protector stepped up - blasting Goy'az through the door before our Heroes. Quickly taking action Imnar and Minsore found a way to destroy the ghostly-specter creature through the power of the paladin's faith. ::: '''''Encounter 2 - The Man formerly known as Bargle ''''' ::: After interrogating the man claiming to be Bargle (a failed Skill Challenge) the trio uncovered his "prize"... the Spawn of the Emerald Mountain, a dragon egg of power that Sister Jadescale's talon had lost. ::: '''''Encounter 3 - Slimed... ''''' ::: True to his word - the "late" magic-user, told Minsore and Imnar that beyond the Guest Chambers was the torture gallery. Although it was unusually quiet (due to the rally of the Orcus Acolytes nearer the temple entrance) beneath the dungeon tiles lay ambush! In the blood and gore catcher below an iron maden lurked some sort of orche jelly beast! Splitting to become multiple opponents - the creature gave the monsters a surprise fight... but the two heroes made quick work and returned to their quest for escape. Total XP for this session: 850 (425 for each player) ----
