Calten is a prosperous mining city, it is located on the western part of Twin Salts on the foothills of the Ebony Mountains.<br>
The city has been built in a way to encourage maximum efficiency, travelers rarely come to Calten unless it is to find a mining job or to trade. From a visitor's point of view, Calten is hard on the eyes, with their plain rock walls and minimalistic approach to architecture. Many dwarven miners can be found in the city, and a few have made a name of themselves as minor lords, that being said, humans are the majority of the population and the town is run by a human lord.
