Well maintained with proper care and respect it looks like it will serve well for many years still. Its machine spirit is loyal and experienced, but it takes a few seconds to awake with a high-pitched whine after the safety is thumbed off. The wooden parts of the grip are recently renewed and have burned-in inscriptions: ''The Emperor Protects'' and the Imperial Aquila on one side, ''Stay safe, my disciple, and shine brightly'' along the personal sigil of Malus Ravion on the other. As a graduation present from her teacher and mentor Clavis treasures the weapon and carries it with her more often than strictly necessary.
