===Resources 5===
Son of the Metal Flame learned the trade of the smith from a young age, studying under his father. He picked up very quickly, and by the age of 15, his works were in high demand. His weapons were of superb quality and known for both their durability and, for blades, their keen edges. By the age of twenty-four, not long before his exaltation, his wealth and renown was so great the he set off to build a college to train others - what would soon become his manse.

===Allies 1===
After his exaltation, Son of the Metal Flame fled to Nexus to learn more of his change. During his short exile of two months, he sought out an old friend of his father's. It was not long before he came to the workshop of Sibu Romayi, an accomplished Dragon-Blooded craftsman who had mastered most disciplines of the physical arts. It took little convincing to get Sibu to assist in the founding of a college to teach the arts - many years spent making works on commission for the highest payer had bored him greatly, and teaching posed a great new challenge.

===Manse 3===
Together with Sibu Romayi, Son of the Metal Flame set off to find a demesne that would be suitable for founding a university manse that might yield the greatest craftsmen of Creation. A powerful and suitable fire demesne was located Northward. Calling upon the assistance of many friends and colleagues, Sibu and Son of the Metal Flame completed construction after half a year.

Once completed, Sibu set out to find twenty young craftsmen who showed incredible talent, promise, and dedication. After one month, the students had been chosen. Three months passed before the beginning of the story.
