Being the Bradagh he is well connected with the chieftan and though they do not always see eye to eye on things each can usually call on the other for support. He is very close friends with Dunmor an Dearg. An important man hereabouts, he owns 2 curraghs. When things are calm and quiet they are often to be found in each others company. Cruim has become a fisherman but tries to thwart Finechta at every turn and often consults with Bradaghs in the neighbouring clans to see if he can provide a rebuttal or shown Finechta is in error with his judgements or decrees. He is also the first person to try and belittle or criticise the songs and poems that Finechta composes.
