===What Once Was Lost (1100/1500 Achievement Points)=== After selling the ''Void Gem'', purchasing new gear, and recruiting a Navigator, the explorers set out once more for fame and fortune. After a week and a half of uneventful Warp travel, they arrive in the system detailed in the Thulians' ancient cogitator core. As they slip out into realspace once more, the Warp closes in behind them, whipping up massive storms across the route they just exited. Nevertheless, they press forward and quickly navigate their way to the verdant world which the Explorators claimed to house incredible arcane technologies. Their cursory scans indicated that sentient life is probable, but they cannot pinpoint it, so they descend to explore on foot, landing near a mountain range. The jungle they land in is dense and alien, but they are confident in their skill and prowess, so after a brief consultation with the crew to set up a base camp, they set off into the shade of the towering canopy of trees, heading for the nearby cliffs. The journey is arduous and filled with many foreign dangers, but eventually the Explorers come upon a small encampment of indigenous humans. These natives, much taller and more thickly-limbed than the average Imperial, welcome the Explorers and take them to their village, despite an unfortunate misunderstanding involving the killing of a xeno creature which is apparently allied with the natives. It turns out that only a few of the villagers can speak Low Gothic and among these few is the village Shaman. This wild, but surprisingly stable practitioner of Divination seems to have been aware of the Explorers' approach for some time and is courteous at first, but loses his patience when they do not appear interested in the well-being of his people. He dismisses them, saying that they must become more knowledgeable in the current state of affairs on the planet before they may speak with him again. Returning to base, the Explorers hash out new plans and set out days later on various quests. Vertix leaves with a handful of armsmen to scout out tunnels and caves rumored to lead down into what the natives call "The Beneath." Meanwhile, Ezekiel, Father Quinn, and Abraxias set out for the Northern end of the mountain range accompanied by Chastitia, in search of a strange twisting in the Warp emanating from that location. Finally, Andrew Langsbury takes some more men back to the village to initiate trading and set up a forward post there, while Michtek works to prepare their small number of Sentinel Walkers to carry cargo for long-range exploration and spelunking.
