This is the beginning of a work in progress: a collaborative system-independent roleplaying sourcebook of the 1990s. Our intent is to create a supplement which can be used to create convincing RPG settings using the real world's 1990s as a background.

Our history articles should not simply recapitulate Wikipedia's chronology of the era; we should focus on events that will make a big change to the lives of player-characters in likely genres, and on events that provide good plot hooks.
