The year is 1943.  The Third Reich has conquered England, but remains mired in its fight within Russia, while the U.S. never entered into the war.  

~1915 - Suffrage war in the U.S.  

19?? - Eleanor Roosevelt is elected President.  

1940 - The British army were retreating from Dunkirk, when a storm came up and the fleet was devastated.  Rumors went around that it was torn to pieces by giant sea creatures.  

1941 - England was invaded by the German forces.  Sir Winston Churchill continues to lead pockets of resistance, but dies of a heart attack in December.  

1943 - Present

England is presently being run from the Dover government and the Cliveden gang.  The head of Dover govt is Lord Hallifax, who has a withered arm which is the subject of many rumors.  King George & family are living in exile in Canada.
