== Appearance ==

To put it simple, Amity Summers is a stunning beauty. We're talking top notch, once in a lifetime looks here. She got long silky pitch black hair, crystal blue eyes and the most beautiful pearly white smile you'll never see. Her skin is very pale though, almost translucent, as if a layer of ice covers her whole body, and without lipstick her lips takes the light blue shade you usually see on a person who has frozen to death. Her body is by the way drop dead gorgeous, but sadly she usually dresses in thick furs (regardless of temperature), making it next to impossible for the casual observer to see that.

== Personality ==

Amity Summers is a very complex person. She likes to put up the appearance of being charming and playful, but this is really just another of her disguises. Amity is frankly an ice queen. She's unemphatic and intelligent, preferring to choose the course of action that will be the most rewarding, regardless of ethics. Furthermore, although she likes to imagine herself being independent and calculating, she's actually very dependent on her masters wishes. She probably doesn't even realize it. In the end she might actually be rather lonely deep down, but she'll never admit it.

== Abilities ==

Amity is very a talented wizard, her specialty being evocations, especially the ones involving ice. She's capable of conjuring ice at will, and she's constantly surrounded by an aura of cold that stretches out a pair of meters from her body. Her body is also covered by a thin layer of ice that protects her from damage. She's very proud of these abilities, which might make her act foolishly in arrogance. As a rule though she's very clearheaded, often relying more on cunning strategies than brute force to win her the battle.

The source of Amity's powers are probably the same as Johan's, although she wields hers a bit differently, her being a wizard and all. Strangely, she doesn't seem to have Johan's problem with controlling her temper though.

-Amity Summers was born twenty-five years ago in a small village in the northern reaches of Winterweir. When she was eleven she witnessed the death of her parents as her village was attacked by barbarians from the north. She was forced to travel southward as an orphan and refugee, finally reaching a safe haven in [[Alfein]]. There she lived a street urchin, first surviving through petty theft and later...Anyway, att age fifteen Amity somehow admitted into the Grand Arcanum (the same year as the young [[Johan Fitzluria]]). As a student she was intelligent and diligent, but she lacked that special ''something'' that would set her apart from the normal dredge.
-Amity found that special ''something'' three years later. Because she was born and raised in the North she was admitted on an expedition to The Barrier Wastes. Frankly she was just as unsuited as the stuffy professors for the expedition, but by boosting and lying about her knowledge she was brought along. No amount of boosting could have prepared her for what was waiting for her in the Barrier wastes though. For the second time during her lifetime Amity's life was nearly ended by the barbarians inhabiting the dangerous Wastes as the expedition was attacked and nearly wiped out by one of the native barbarian tribes. the survivors, including Amity, was then caught in a snowstorm and lost, with the exception of one person. Amity Summers.
-Nobody but Amity and her master know what happened to her during that snowstorm, but it changed her. Three months later Amity returned to Alfein to the amazement of her teachers and peers. Somehow she had now gained the ability to manipulate cold at will, and her skin was now covered with a thin layer of ice. She was immediately picked as the personal apprentice of one of the most prestigious masters of Grand Arcanum and she her career sky-rocketed.
-Since graduating Amity has made a name for herself as an adventurer and explorer, and she has participated in several new expeditions to the Barrier Wastes. What's less know is her more unethical practices mercenary.
