---- Ancalis has gone on as it has for ages now with various leaders vying for control of the last peaceful towns and villages of the domain. In recent times, it is said that one of the great pavian knight has taken control of the southern town of Greymere. Here, it is told, that she holds the town against the nightmares of the inner lands of Ancalia and against Warlord Zuruk who jealousy tries to take Greymere and its resources, held at bay by the knight, the few remaining soldiers of Greymere, and the town's common folk. As a contrast, though not necessarily an enemy, the Unitary Church has come down hard to control most of Ancalia, spreading the word of the Creator and the Book alike. Local Bishops and Priests keep a sharp eye on Greymere but do not seem to think that the town is a threat to the Creator or His word. There have been instances of cooperation between the two and some instances of harder words as well but neither the Unitary Church nor Greymere has outright spoken against one another. This could all change with the arrival of the Rising Gods, the Pantheon of Godbound who have made their first and largest impression on the small town of Greymere and also on the local Bishops of the Unitary Church. The Unitarians have since been calling for sanctions on Greymere or for a church to be bult inside its walls, perhaps even for control to be wrest from Lordess Dega and put into the hands of the Church. Meanwhile, the Uncreated Courts have been uncharacteristically quiet. Whereas the undead still rise and husks still shamble the lands, the Uncreated, themselves, seem to be quietly scheming, perhaps waiting to see what unfolds between the Church and the Godbound...
