==Appearance and Demeanor==

Magos Antigonus stands roughly 2 meters tall, with his mechadendrites normally curled over his shoulders. He wears rust-red robes, befitting a tech-priest of the Mechanicus. Unusual for a tech-priest, he stands stright, with no hunchback from his various implants. He carries an elaborate power-axe in the style of the Mechanicus, with a cog-toothed blade, that he uses as a walking stick when not wielding it as a weapon. A storm bolter is mounted on his left shoulder, a reminder that, though his primary function is to gather knowledge for the Omnissiah, he can handle himself in the thick of combat. His black, piercing eyes observe everything they see, and for the moment, are both biological. The lower half of his face is covered by a mask-style implant. The only skin visible tends to be around his eyes, as his hands are covered with gloves, albeit ones with openings over the dataports in his wrists.

Direct and blunt in his speaking, Antigonus views everything as logically as he can. Embracing devotion to the Omnissiah, he dedicates his life to rediscovering ancient knowledge and technology, all in the effort to better humankind. Though his weaponry would seem to indicate otherwise, he would rather solve problems with diplomacy over judicious use of firepower.

==Background==

Born on the Forge World of Vecthris Prime, Antigonus was mechanically inclined from a young age. Recruited at the age of 6 to work as a menial in a forge belonging to Magos Reevik, Antigonus was noticed due to his tireless effort and how easily he grasped mechanical concepts. Inducted to the Mechanicus at the age of 29, an unusually young age. Not content with research in a forge, Antigonus went into the void with the Imperial Navy, to get a taste of life outside of a forge. In a clash with a tendril of Hive Fleet Leviathan, his ship, Imperator's Glory, was lost. Antigonus was able to reach a savior pod when it was clear the ship was beyond saving. Landing on a nearby planet after weeks in the void, Antigonus found a Mechanicus outpost and sought out another vessel to go out into space in search of archeotech. Finding Augustus Yutani, he enlisted as the leader of the ship's enginseers and ship's medicae.
