The teams supervisor was not a kind man, enjoying at every opportunity reminding those under his eyes that they were unfit for any other service to the Omnissiah. Eventually however, Armistan discovered that instead of shipping the material they recovered to the manufactory, the manager was selling the choicest bits to various crime gangs.<br> <br> He discretely informed the local authorities and assisted them in their investigation, eventually halting the operation altogether. As a reward for his loyalty, he was allowed to be retested and entered the ranks of the techpriests. He soon learned however that his actions in stopping the smuggling operation had bitten into the profits of a criminal organization when numerous servitors started suffering explosive malfunctions near him.<br> <br> Deciding leaving the system was better than suffering a premature end to his service to the Omnissiah, he signed on to an expidition searching for STC data out on the Sectors edge. Unfortunately the expedition turned into a disaster while investigating an abandoned research facility nearly everyone was wiped out by a xenos-created tech-virus.<br> <br> As terrifying as the experience was, the knowledge he gained was still valuable. Armistan decided that it was a sign from the Omnissiah, that his duty was to continue exploring the reaches beyond the Imperium for lost knowledge. And so he began looking for a Rogue Trader to join with to begin that search...<br>
