Some believe that it was originally an Elven artifact made up of 4 pieces that was lost when the Valenar Elves brought it to Khorvaire. More commonly, it is believed to be the Arkantaash, a relic of the Dhakaani Empire and consisting of 5 parts, each held by a different hobgoblin champion of old.

The circlet, which [[Ku]] had originially found, has made it's way back into Goblin hands (the [[Wordbearers]]). The group knows the current location and are heading there now.
