On Earth, the path to freedom was power, and he had plenty of it, flowing from him like a boundless natural resource. He assembled an Army of the Oppressed and led a resistance against the Empire of Man. As victory neared, the army began to disintegrate, but then the Varians kidnapped the sorcerer. In the Astral Sea, freedom is a ship, and he has one. He has put thoughts of his bid for power on Earth behind him, but will the Varian Confederation leave him be? Or will he have to secure his freedom the old-fashioned way?
