** ''RECAP:''  Within seconds Arthur found himself at his father's side.  Julie remained silent, knowing this would be time Arthur needed.  Meanwhile, at the same facility Brian's mother began recovering with speed unlike any other - except Brian's good friend Arhtur Redford...  Spartan would borrow Arthur's abilities giving them to the injured mother and in a bubble of time Brian and the man called Spartan would talk.  In New England, Mandy and Jack remained on scene.  The FBI had questions, Mandy was the only one to be there to answer...  Ms. Smith would travel to Washington DC with the FBI carrying the murder weapon along with her but not revealing any details.  There she would meet another Survivor - a young man promoted from the academy because of his gifts, a fellow plane passenger - with the ability to transmute matter!  As Mandy found her way into "protective custody", Jack would track the signature of Mongrel's Godlike energy - the power writhed in a twisted half-man form and seemed to be looking, searching, hunting for a vessel.  But another signature of unusual nature would capture Jack's attention as he watched the man known as "the Doc" move out of the crowd of Human's First members and retire to a military base where he was recovered by the Pantheon unit sent to aid the Hopewell crew.  <br>  At John Hopkins Hospital Brian's tension was relieved while Arthur's increased.  Worried about what was happening, their first thought was that the Doc had done something - healing the sick while simultaniously killing an elder, the elder which they believed to be Harold Redford!  Brian asked the new Godlike Spartan to use his ability, see if he could SEE what was wrong with Harold.  Sure enough the young man could - Jude reached out borrowing a Godlike power to see the nature of the Godlike powers, Jack's ability!  This revealed something deadly serious - the twisted black snake energy that the Hopewell members had seen nearly a year prior inside one of the most powerful Godlike - the man that took the entire survivor group from Seattle to DC in only a few hours flight... <br> What will become of these events, what will continue with the other events as yet uncomplete remain to be seen - when next we tell our tales...

** ''RECAP:''  It was like it was yesterday.  The morning of the day that changed 283 lives forever.  The Survivors found their places among the wreckage that has become their lives.  Perhaps power isn't the solution...  As we remember that fateful day, interesting turn of events took shape.  Things seen on the day as innocuous, strange but meaningless - now in hindsight seemed prophetic.  Words found on document encountered during that day - what could they mean?  Who was sending them?  And will the Godlike be able to stop whoever is going to KILL the seer?!?? <br>  Meanwhile our scenes jump back and forth from situation to situation in the evolving lives of Amanda Smith, Brian Jaffe, Arthur Redford and Jack Bennett Kennedy.  The most crucial of events becomes the spotlight when the Vice President's mother is threatened by the Godlike calling itself "[[Mongrel]]".  FBI are on scene as are a mob gathered by the [[Human's First]] group.  Negotiation or Power are the choices -  Brian Jaffe stands stark considering his options.  Like a blast of energy the final moments set themselves, when all is said and done Brian's mother is rescued while Arthur's cleaver (Excalibur) falls to the ground having ripped the kidnapper in pieces.  <br> As Brian's mother lie in critical condition a new Survivor rises to the challenge.  Spartan would save Brian's mother with a strange new ability - but in using his power he would leave Arthur stranded as the call comes from the hospital...  His father has just had a massive corinary...  Arthur's speed was gone, luckily Julie was not.
