During the Age of the Primordials, Dragon Kings were occasionally seized by a compulsion to engage in bizzare forms of dance. The dancers were called Bartoich, and were considered ill omens. The Dragon Kings felt that one so possessed was under the influence of the Mad Ones that stalked the world during this time. Yet, they also viewed the dancers as oracles of a sort. They watched the dances and attempted to divine meaning from them, often in the form of warnings.
