Vilma Bartos was a street dwelling con artist in life. 

She had a rather usual upbringing in one of the smaller cities outside of Prague and went to Prague to seek her fortune once she was out of school, probably at the age of 18. While she was quite young and impressionable she also always had a certain way with people, a silver tongue that allowed her to persuade them into all sorts of things. After a few attempts at keeping a steady job, which mostly failed due to her impatient and at times capricious nature, she ended up on the streets. From then on her career as a professional thief and swindler took off. In her time Vilma has come up with quite a few hairbrain schemes as to how to take the hard earned money of the people of Prague and has gotten herself into more than a little trouble with both the authorities and other crooks and perhaps even gangs. 

Vilma has a mercenary nature, which allows her to look out for herself first and foremost. Life on the streets has taught her not to be the most trusting but if somehow her loyalty is earned, it goes a long way. Her brain tends to work at a 100mph at all times, not necessarily contemplating anything productive and as a result she is very unhappy about "standing around doing nothing" at any point.

Ferenc (12) - an orphan whom Vilma claims to have "accidentally" rescued from the disaster, which killed his parents. The young boy has now become a permanent fixture in the Savage's life and sadly, as much as she hates to admit it, she is growing more attached by the hour.
