- Main Page; [[Griffin Island]] The weed needs to be preserved in the water it came out of until you get back to Surlt. Don't let it get in salt water. Don't let it get in other fresh water. Don't let it dry out. Now we have some things to make life interesting for you after you secure the sea weed/kelp thing. You have two wine-cask sized barrels. The berries can be split in half. Half go into two glass jars with primitive (for us, not for the game world) sealed stoppers. The other half will be dried out in the sun and then carried in a couple of bags. Nobody is sure which will work best. The berries can allow for flight. Raw, they make a person sick, but it occurs to Lucwo that if someone could hold them down, then they could fly. Those being preserved in the jar will surely be put to this use. They are distilled into a strong wine that grants similar powers, but that is much more likely to not make the partaker sick. The dried berries are used to ceremonies to worship Aeolus. Lucwo understand it well enough, but it really doesn't do anything immediate. FYI, I tossed out the ability of the limbs. Besides, those required long rituals (you don't know) and sacrifice of power (you don't have). Plus, they have a good chance of killing the tree. Our windberry tree is more mundane there. You can cut a live limb off, try to preserve it, and plant it elsewhere. Lucwo's skill might allow it to survive where others have failed. - Main Page; [[Griffin Island]]
