They had to shelter him from much of what the Triad did, for the simple reason that he would cheerfully blurt out such information to strangers. Unfortunately, he has not made much progress in that direction. He also had a history of sneaking out of the monastery and breaking into places he didn’t belong—not out of malice, but out of naïve curiosity and a lack of discipline. His teachers had to intervene on his behalf enough times that it became a problem. Deciding he would not learn the lessons he need in the monastery, his teachers have sent Brother Foresight to wander the world, in the hope that he might learn a little wisdom and discipline.
