== Background ==
Ixxzahnchi's come from a pulsar planet orbiting a neutron star. An individual member of the species has enough radiation inside to kill most living things, but they're able to consciously control it. Between the radiation and the gravity, their home world is uninhabitable for any other race or tangible creature. Even if this wasn't the case, they'd still be isolationists. Groups of Ixxzahnchi have moved on to other worlds, drenched in radiation to build new societies. In their travels they've encountered the Scyphozoan. Each encounter has gone worse than before. The only members of the species that interact with others are scientists, and outcasts. Purple Haze is a bit of both.

Amongst Purple Haze's people Purple Haze (as no English pronoun fits the Ixxzahnchi people) was an adventurer with the intent to head out beyond their isolated homes to study the "primitive tangible races." The others believed Purple Haze would be better at studying the data that a kinder member of the race discovered. Purple Haze wasn't having that and stole a ship. Soon, Purple Haze was off to strange lands beyond. Two years later Purple Haze returned with what Purple Haze had found, but the Ixxzahnchi decided that Purple Haze's impulsiveness would only be worsened by the years of exposure and ostracised Purple Haze.

Angry, Purple Haze decided to build a paradise to stay in. It started with rewriting the memories of the monarch. Eventually Purple Haze helped them create what they called a "power plant." For Purple Haze it was a castle that no other could live within. One day Haepali happened across Purple Haze's people and asked the wrong questions causing things to come crashing down. Purple Haze angrily responded attempting to destroy the plant and flood the city with radiation. Purple Haze was stopped, and arrested, and has stewed, angrily ever since.
