Tall and grim, with red hair, pale skin and fierce blue eyes, Bjornergar has all the hallmarks of the typical farnorthman. He carries himself with pride, and his resolution of spirit shines through in his bearing: he'll become a legendary hunter and slayers of the monsters the tales of which are used to scare small children, or he'll die attempting to protect the people of the land from their depradations. Often grim following a battle as he observes the rites of Kord and Kelanen in honouring the departed spirits of his foes, Thorssen is normally a man of high spirits, even when locked in a fight for his life. Optimistic by nature, Bjornergar lets his spirit overflow to his allies and friends, too, and is often ready with a heartening word or suggestion, in combat or out of it.
 
  
When out of the rigours of the adventuring life, Bjornergar tends to relax and let his guard down - perhaps a little too much - and enjoy what comforts he can.

Born in the grim northlands of Stonefist, Bjornergar, son of Thor warrior of Stonefist, and native northman already had the blood of a champion somewhere in his veins. His father's position as an honoured skirmisher in the forces of the Hold of Stonefist meant his family could live relatively comfortably. Little Bjornergar hung on every word his father brought back from his battles, though, and joined the forces of the Hold as soon as he was able as a tracker and skirmisher himself. Finding his battle-rage while helping his unit destroy a wayward Hill Giant that had been attacking Stonefist lands earned him his blooding and the right to range ahead of the others as a scout. Sadly, on his first such mission along the coast he strayed too close to a group of slavers that were packing up camp; they trapped him and threw him in the hold with the others.
