'''Capsule:''' Black Bolt is the king of the Inhumans, a genetic offshoot of mankind that lives in the hidden city of Attilan. Each inhuman possess a superpower derived from exposure to a mutagenic known as the Terrigen Mist. Black Bolt has the deadliest power of all: a voice with the potency of a nuclear detonation. 

Black Bolt wears a special suit that includes a fork-like antenna on his brow that helps him direct his power in more controlled manner, resulting in a variety of effects. Nonetheless, he is still forever forced to remain silent, lest even his whispers cause earthquakes.

As a king, Black Bolt is wise, fair, compassionate, and sensitive. He is by nature a man of peace, but will make any sacrifice to protect his subjects.
