He looks entirely human at first glance, before you notice that his proportions are subtly…wrong. His shoulders are too broad, his chest too wide, his brow too prominent, and legs a little too short. And his nose is all wrong, but that’s the result of its having been broken so many times that Bolthorn has lost count. His eyes are a startling blue, he keeps his thinning brown hair cropped short, and his inordinately proud of the fact that, somehow, he still has all of his teeth. His great-grandmother was a giant of some sort; there’s a story there, and a damned good one, but no-one outside the family has ever heard it. If asked, Bolthorn just grins, shakes his head, and has another drink. Bolthorn, he likes to fight. Loves to fight. Has devoted his life to it, really. He’s always looking for a challenge, and he’s delighted when someone can beat him in a fair fight. It means that he’s got more to learn, see? Being part of the militia lets Bolthorn test himself, and do a bit of good in the process. He’s a soft touch, and doesn’t bother to deny it....
