A Scholar and rival to Ku. He worked with Ku at the University and had been disputing a lot of Ku's achievements.

The group found him very recentily dead before being attacked by a Large War Forged they had disturbed in the act.

The group later found out that Bonal had been hired by [[Lady Eldria d'Vown]] to investigate and retrieve something for her. The group took on the contract to follow this up.

This was also where Ku originally came across the wand (Masters wand of Phantom Bolt) and [[Beezle]].
