Sec-Ops Pilot Jacket As much portable computer as practical outerwear, this rugged leather jacket is equipped with hardlinked internal processors and a military-grade cortex suite with variable frequency bandwidth, broad spectrum wireless access, and universal jack ports.
+
CyberWear&trade; Specialist Jacket Full cortex suite with universal jack stations and variable frequency bandwidth built into a rugged leather specialist's jacket, for the fashionable ex-military scoundrel hacker.
 +
* Hard Link: <u>Sometimes forging a hard link between your system and the system you want to compromise is the most direct and effective means of gaining access. It ain't without it's risks though - Take or step up a Hard Linked complication to double Operate for an action when infiltrating electronic systems.</u>
 +
* EMP: Sometimes there ain't no time to get fancy and you just need to make it all go dark - Spend 1 PP to trigger an electromagnetic pulse to emanate from your jacket that causes all active electronics immediately around you to go dark. Your CyberWear Jacket electronics, any electronics inside the confines of your jacket, and any outside electronics that are powered down before the pulse are unaffected.
 +

 +
Steady Hands: Despite their cybernetic nature, your hands look perfectly normal and perfectly human. They don't flinch or shake, and they don't hesitate. No matter what is going on around you, your hands know what they are about. After all, that's how they were engineered.
 +
<br>[Special: Lev's cybernetics extend to his shoulders]
 +
* Bionic Advantage: With Blue Sun, there's always a price to pay. Take or step up a Blue Sun Programming complication to step up or double Physical for a single action involving strength or manual dexterity.
 +
* Right in the Phantom Limb: Never know when having a metal/polymer understructure will come in handy -  When you spend a PP to avoid being Taken Out from a physical attack or environmental happenstance, you can step back Cybernetic Hands until the end of the Episode instead of taking a Complication. Remove Cybernetic Hands from the Episode if they are stepped below

Monkey Fist Favored by police units around the core for crowd control, this heavy, compact pistol can be loaded with standard amunition, flexible rubberized riot-rounds, or low velocity chem pods (flash/bang, tear gas, cover smoke, flares, etc) as the situation requires.
+
Monkey Fist Prized for its heft and unparalleled stopping power at close range, this heavy, compact pistol was favored by Independent Specialists during the war.
<br>[Special: Loaded with rubberized riot-rounds unless otherwise noted]
+
<br>[Special: Unless otherwise stated, Lev's gun is always loaded with rubberized crowd control riot-rounds].
 +
* Monkey Punch: Some folk just ain't worth a gorramn bullet - When you club someone with your pistol, spend 1 PP and add an extra to your roll for that action.

Bio
Bio
Dimitri Lev was born into wealth and privilege, the scion of a proper Londinium family, and raised on the notion that Unification was as inevitable as the stark cold of the Black.
+
Home planet: Londinium

Yet, even before the war, and much to his family's dismay, Lev was already swimming neck deep in the anti-unification counterculture that had sprung up among certain affluent youth of the Core. Attending rallies, staging protests, and using his skill with computers to undermine the Alliance agenda was just de rigueur du jour.
+
Religion: None
 +
----
 +
Age: 38

When war finally did break out, it seemed like a no brainer to run off and join the cause, training as a supply pilot to support the Independents in a non-combatant capacity.
+
Height: 185cm

+
Or that was the plan.
+
Weight: 90kg

+
----
But things didn't go as planned.

In his third week of training, Lev's jump shuttle was shot down in a police action initiated by an alliance gunship, and the doctors told him he'd never fly again.
+
A small ops specialist in the war, Lev attained the rank of captain during his enlistment, and despite people constantly trying to kill him to death, his time fighting for the Independents had the benefit of teaching him a compact suite of brutally marketable skills.

That should have been the end of it, but a singularly plain looking man in a beat up leather jacket and aviator shades visited him in the hospital and offered to pay for his rehabilitation and put him back in a cockpit. Instead of shipping home in disgrace, Lev endured months of experimental procedures and intense therapy as they grafted muscle and bone and flesh and slowly stitched him back together.
+
When the war ended, Lev took those skills freelance and never looked back.

Security Operations [Sec-Ops] signed him straight from the facility, and he flew for them until the end of the war.
