==Backstory==
Bean worked for the Metropolitan Museum, specializing in online auctions and artifact authentication. After handling an ancient Egyptian puzzle box of DaVincian complexity, Bean was afflicted with a curse and gained the ability to transform into a swarm of metallic-shelled scarab beetles and the ability to teleport. He also gained the ability read minds and a psychic affinity for communicating with and manipulating electronic and mechanical devices.

Bean truly views his condition as a curse, but is determined to put his affliction to good use, not trusting what he might become without that purposeful approach.
