Played by KreenWarrior Seasoned Veteran: Age 17 Appearance: Elliott is a classic bishounen; black-haired, striking features, serious blue eyes. Half the females in the Resistance have at least a minor crush on him, but Elliott has none of it. Personality: Elliott is a brooding loner. Never given much to opening up, he’s become much worse since his lover’s death, prone to angry outbursts and general surliness. He plays the flute well, and spends a lot of time playing and caring for the instrument, which was given to him by Rick. Elliott is one of those who can remember life before the Bliss, though not that well. Coming from a fairly wealthy family, he was unprepared for life after his parents fell into an endless sleep, but with no choice, he managed to keep himself and his little brother alive. For a year, they hid out in an apartment building, sneaking out to grab food and water whenever necessary. They managed to skirt the attention of the major gangs and almost had a functioning life… until the drones attacked. Elliott made it out, but Sam didn’t… Elliott saw him crushed under falling debris, and had no time to stop and grieve before he ran. He ran… straight into the arms of the Resistance. Finding a flyer, he also went to UC Berkeley to find this mysterious figure who wanted to fight the aliens. And he joined, and he was good at it: first with doing what little they could, then becoming a genius ANIMA pilot. And along the way, he found himself slowly getting over his feelings of responsibility for the death of his brother. And slowly falling for Rick, another pilot. Their romance was tempestuous, dramatic and exciting, and led to sex and real affection. Until Rick, too, was killed during a mission. Elliott sank into a lasting depression then, which he’s yet to recover from. He’s convinced his touch is death, and that he himself would be better off dead. There’s only two things keeping him alive right now: a need to kill as many of the alien bastards as possible, and the efforts of his Anchor, Evan, who Elliott allows himself to open up to, at least a little. 4/2: Evan "He gives me what I need to hear when I need to hear it."
3/3: Stephen "I trust him to lead us as well as he can. And we badly need a leader."
3/2: Jen "I'd never admit it, but I like feeling like having a mom around again."
3/1: Brandi "I like that she wants to fight as much as I do."
2/3: Raymond Mitsuda "You can't help but like him a little. Besides, I catch him peeking at porn frequently, which I find amusing."
1/2: Everyone else
