Carly Castalwie is a [[Shadowborn]] that Random met on an earth world.  At the time she was the Secretary of National Baseball league centered in Las Vegas.  She also was the booking Agent for ''Talent'' serving 12 major casino chains, two Cruise lines, and hundreds of venues.  If you were an artist she got you yours gigs. She seemed to know everyone and everything about them from Agents new to the business with 2 clients, to major managing companies.  She knew every lawyer and judge.  Knew every police officer.  She knew all the criminals.

No one Messed with Carly. She also knew all the hitmen.

Her mind is quick and she never forgets anything or anyone.  Eidetic memory. Photo memory. Total Recall.  And she is obsessive about working. 


==Carly & Random==
When she and Random met he was running a really good Jazz trio.   He wanted a gig and got it.  Soon she was booking him regularly.  She made friends with his manager, trio, and him in a way unusual for her.  Soon Carly and Random were romantically involved.

She and Random were one of those couples who could know what the other was going to say.  Almost telepathically.  They seemed a perfect match.  But despite all that neither wanted to get married, each for different reasons that they never discussed.  Perfect Significant others,.  Never jealous.

==The Vegas Days==
Random and Carly moved into a Vegas mansion with all the amenities.  Pools, tennis courts, shooting ranges for guns and archery. Entertaining spaces as well as offices for both of them.  She ran her businesses from home.

Neither were interested in marriage and family.  Neither was jealous of the other, sometimes sharing.   

It was a wild time.  Random bought 3 big casinos and dozens of clubs across the world. 

During these years Random spoke with those in Amber rarely.  Though some visited it was always of party. He socialized with Brand, Caine & Flora in those days.  Got Flora into golf tours.  They all liked Carly a lot and pushed her to marry and settle down.   Carly always laughed off such suggestion.


It was a long party. 50 years.  Everyone aged it seemed, except Random

Eventually Carly got very sick with a bad collection of medical problems.  When she was dying Random took her to Fantalin where Aries Colbesie saved her through magical means and technological ones.  

During her recovery Random told Carly about Amber.  She was put in a Regeneration Tank as part of her healing and was 20 years younger.  In the end, her pragmatic nature made her accept everything.  She wanted to be fully young.  She was regenerated to about 23. Random gave her a ''shapechange ring'' that let her appear her earth age despite her regenerated age.

They returned to the Vegas world but things were different.  Carlys contacts were aging.  Retiring.  Dying.  
===''Planning to move on''===
She finally decided the world was done for her.  Random arranged for them to die in a small craft accident.  They had a wonderful funeral and a raging reception .  They attended of course, both wearing shape change rings.  The reception party lasted weeks and let them relax into going.

They collected all their valuables, transporting them to Amber, making it look like someone at the reception had stolen millions in cash and jewelry leaving a mysterious crime to solve.  The police had to interview every one of course and there were many suspects.

The millions in cash in their ''House Money for gambling'' they packed into envelops and gave away randomly.  Random converted a couple million into Casino chips and spread them around gambling, in his new guise, and tipped the staff heavily.

Also in their "wills" both left their vast fortunes to charities.  Some in donations of millions to big funds that supported medical research, the ASPCA, and many animal rescue groups and to many literacy programs.. 

Most of their remaining money for the ''Vegas World'' was put into the Castalwie Foundation that donated to small causes from animal groups to musical groups to Acting and artistic  high school groups to sports groups. It sponsored the National Little League.  It nearly supported the Boy & Girl Scouts entirely.  

For many of these groups the yearly donation was what kept them running.  They left quite a legacy for her.  Evidence of Carly's skills and memory.

==Shadow Travel==
After leaving the Vegas world Random and Carly traveled.  Shadow walking fro world to world as they pleased.

They saw and did many this but never found a place to stay

Eventually Carly wanted to attend school so she entered Fantalin taking Royal Rights first.  After that she entered Academia seriously.  This was the end of them as a couple but didn't effect their friendship.

Carly became a Dean of Business at Fantalin and was there when the Black Road War began==
